In short
If we do not get your press release published, you do not pay for it. Refund requests are reviewed within two business days and paid back to your original payment method. The full text below governs.
1. Our commitment
We sell published coverage, not effort. If we fail to deliver what your order promised, we refund it. You do not need to argue the point — you need to show us the order and what was missing.
2. When you get a full refund
- Press releases: we fail to secure publication within the timeframe stated in your written placement list
- Media placements: we cannot deliver the minimum number of publications your package specified
- Service delivery: we fail to provide the agreed services at all
- Timeline breach: we exceed the promised delivery window by more than 50% for reasons within our control
- Quality: delivered work falls below professional standards and we cannot put it right after one revision round
Where part of an order is delivered and part is not, we refund the undelivered part in full and keep the rest of the engagement in place.
3. What is not refundable
- Coverage that was published as agreed, but did not produce the traffic, rankings, leads or attention you hoped for
- Delays caused by waiting on your approval, assets, interview availability or regulatory clearance
- Cancellation after you approved the copy and distribution has already begun
- An outlet later editing, moving or removing a piece that was live and evidenced at the time of delivery
- Third-party platform decisions we never guaranteed, such as a Google Knowledge Panel not being granted
- Work you asked us to stop after distribution started, or announcements withdrawn by you
- Situations where the announcement turned out to be inaccurate, unlawful or undisclosed paid promotion, and an outlet pulled it for that reason
4. Substitutions before a refund
If a named publication becomes unavailable, we will first offer a comparable outlet of equal or better standing. You are free to decline the substitute — if you do, and no acceptable alternative exists, that portion of your order is refunded in full.
5. How to request a refund
- Email hello@doyourpr.com with the subject "Refund request". [Set up refunds@doyourpr.com if you want a dedicated address]
- Include your order or invoice number, the placements affected and what was promised.
- Attach anything relevant — the written placement list, our emails, or the report you received.
- We review and reply within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
Requests should reach us within [30] days of the delivery date on your coverage report, so we can still verify what was and was not published.
6. Partial refunds and credits
Where a package covered several placements and most were delivered, we refund the value of the missing placements. If you prefer, we can issue a credit toward a future campaign instead — your choice, never ours.
7. Payment disputes
Please contact us before raising a chargeback. Almost every dispute is a question of what the placement list actually promised, and that is faster to settle by email than through a payment provider.
8. Related terms
This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service, which describe the approval process and the limits of what we can guarantee, and our Privacy Policy. Statutory rights that apply where you live are not affected by anything here.
